Primary Instructor:  Steven A. Moses

 
Our primary instructor is Steven Moses, who has conducted weapons and tactics courses for approximately 12 years.  Moses is a Texas peace officer (reserve) and a Special Response Group team member, active in the executive protection field and a state-certified Personal Protection Officer Instructor, and author of numerous magazine articles on weapons and tactics.  Steve is the author of "Carbine & Shotgun
Speedshooting"  available through Paladin Press (link below), a resource book dedicated to beginning shooters interested in a "nuts-and bolts" understanding of basic mechanical shooting skills.  An active competitive shooter, Moses holds an International Defensive Pistol Association Expert rating and was High Lawman at the 2006 Tactical Conference and Polite Society Match held in Memphis, Tennessee.  Steve studied martial arts for approximately 8 years, including jujitsu and Filipino knife fighting, and earned a 2nd degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.

Hany Mahmoud holds a Master Peace Officer License and a Masters degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. He is a TCLEOSE firearms instructor who has graduated from the FBI Firearms Instructor School, and is the firearms instructor and armorer for his department. Mahmoud is currently attached to an ongoing executive protection detail in the D/FW area, and a graduate of multiple weapons and tactics courses. An outstanding shooter who is a member of the Glock Shooting Sports Foundation Hall of Fame, Hany is an excellent instructor who has taught hundreds of men and women how to correctly run a gun and prevail in deadly situations. Hany is SWAT-certified and has repeatedly demonstrated his willingness to "walk the walk", and is the Recovery Car driver and Point Man for his departments Special Response Group.
 

 
  
John Ammons was in the Florida Army National Guard and qualified Expert on the M16 and M203.  He has taken the following courses:  First Responder Training Course, Firearms Familiarization and Personal Safety Course, Firearms Training and Safe Handling, Combative Pistol 1, Defensive Handgun for Concealed Carry, Team Exercises and Maneuvers, Advanced Handgun Operator, Advanced Carbine Operator, Combat Applications Techniques, Combat Rifle, Defensive Rifle, PSD Weapons, and Combat Handgun.
 

 
 
 
 

 
 

 

 

 

 

 Chris Frantz is a Texas Peace Officer with extensive patrol experience. A graduate of FBI Firearms Instructor School, he is also a SWAT-certified member of his department's Special Response Group. A graduate of numerous weapon and tactics courses, Frantz is a gifted instructor who is particularly skilled with the patrol rifle.

 


 

 

 Allan McBee is currently the Agent-in-Charge on an ongoing 6-man protective detail in the Dallas/Fort Worth area, an active competitive shooter, and graduate of approximately 50 weapons and tactics courses. Allan is a gifted instructor who has been teaching men and women how to defend themselves and their families for over 10 years. McBee is a practicing mixed martial artist.
